Metal Treating Specialist - 2nd and 3rd Shifts - East Peoria Bldg KK - Supplemental (Manufacturing)

Location: East Peoria, Illinois, United States; onsite work on 2nd or 3rd shift. Training takes place on 1st shift for 4–6 weeks. Relocation is not offered.

Salary: $23.22 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour night-shift premium.

What you will do

• Complete paid training to develop specialized heat-treatment manufacturing skills.
• Set up, operate, and adjust heat-treat equipment.
• Perform carburizing, cycle annealing, and die quenching of gears.
• Work safely in frequently changing and sometimes extreme temperatures.
• Stand for shifts of at least 8 hours and perform frequent walking, bending, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, rotating, and occasional climbing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or previous work or volunteer experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, when required.
• Availability for 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, or 3rd shift, Monday–Friday, 10:30 PM–6:30 AM.

• Previous heat-treatment experience.
• Previous machine-shop experience.
