Maintenance Mechanic 3 - 12-hr Night Shift Front Half (7pm - 7am) (Manufacturing)

Location: Chanhassen, Minnesota, USA; 12-hour night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday.

Salary: $28.75–$42.11 per hour, plus a $2 per hour night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Maintain production equipment and respond to machinery errors and failures.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair and maintain presses, die cutters, inserting machines, folders, conveyors, and bindery equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Manufacture or reproduce replacement parts using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders.

Requirements

• Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, testing, and maintaining complex machinery.
• Advanced knowledge of machine controls and the ability to distinguish mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic failures.
• Ability to perform precise alignment, parallelism, concentricity, pressure, and flow measurements.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of construction and assembly techniques, geometry, shop mathematics, and machining calculations.
• Ability to work the required 12-hour night-shift schedule in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
