CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

Location: Binghamton, New York, United States of America; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $24.40–$28.75 per hour

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce complex precision components.
• Interpret blueprints, setup documentation, technical drawings, and CNC program information.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling and machine offsets.
• Monitor machining operations and adjust processes to maintain efficiency and precision.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, verniers, depth gauges, and scales.
• Perform drilling, deburring, troubleshooting, and other secondary machining operations while following safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• At least two years of machining experience or equivalent technical training and hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of machining practices, manufacturing principles, shop mathematics, cutting tools, and CNC terminology.
• Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work onsite in the Binghamton, New York machine shop environment.
