Chief Information Security Officer, Global (Cybersecurity)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; travel of up to 20% is expected and may increase as the business evolves.

Salary: $330,000–$360,000 base annually, plus bonus. Compensation may vary by location and individual qualifications.

What you will do

• Define and execute the enterprise-wide information security strategy across a global portfolio operating in 19+ markets.
• Lead the global security organization, including architects, analysts, engineers, and specialists.
• Oversee security programs, policies, controls, risk visibility, metrics, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Translate cyber risk into business risk for the CEO, Board, regulators, auditors, customers, and partners.
• Secure IT, operational technology, building management, physical access, cloud-native, and multi-tenant environments.
• Partner with Sales and Legal on customer due diligence, contractual reviews, and security assurance as a commercial differentiator.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• 15+ years of progressive information security or IT risk experience, including 5–7 years in senior leadership.
• Experience developing enterprise security strategies and managing GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and regional data protection requirements.
• Expertise in threat intelligence, risk management, cloud, network, and application security, incident response, governance, vendors, budgets, and large-scale programs.
• Global leadership experience across North America, EMEA, and APAC, with strong executive, customer, regulator, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML security risks, OT/ICS, BMS, SCADA, and physical access control systems in data center operations.
