Software Engineer - Clinical Analytics

Location: Hybrid position based at the headquarters in the Greater Seattle area, Seattle, WA. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Visa sponsorship and work permits are not available.

Base pay: $110,000–$145,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build low-latency analytics infrastructure for interactive exploration of population-level health data.
• Design self-service dashboards for defining, customizing, and sharing care-quality metrics.
• Develop services and REST APIs for metric definition, computation, and monitoring.
• Implement tenant isolation, access control, and data security across analytics services.
• Optimize query performance and data modeling through aggregation strategies, caching, and storage layout.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to deliver production-ready clinical analytics features.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience building, deploying, and operating scalable cloud services with .NET/C#, Python, or a similar language.
• Experience with data, OLAP, analytics technologies, analytical databases, BI tools, or reporting-oriented data modeling.
• Backend development experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures such as Azure.
• Working knowledge of SQL, query performance, and data-modeling tradeoffs.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded analytics, dashboarding, or data-driven products.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant architectures, row-level security, and tenant data isolation.
• Knowledge of healthcare data, clinical quality measures, or health informatics.
• Experience with containerized deployments, observability, and production service operations.
