Operations Process Design Specialist (AI)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, United States; hybrid, with office attendance expected 3+ days per week. Periodic travel of less than 10% may be required to hirify.global offices in San Francisco, Denver, and Santiago. A relocation stipend may be available for relocation to a hirify.global hub location.

Salary: $64,000–$80,000 USD annually in Nashville, Tennessee.

What you will do

• Assess current operations and support processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and use operational data to baseline performance.
• Map current-state and future-state workflows using process flows, swimlane diagrams, and RACI matrices.
• Translate customer experiences and stakeholder knowledge into standardized SOPs, runbooks, playbooks, and intake forms.
• Facilitate working sessions with subject matter experts and collaborate with Quality & Training, Operations Insights, and Program Management.
• Identify opportunities for automation and AI-assisted workflows, defining where human review remains necessary for rigor and compliance.
• Track initiatives through adoption, measure results against pre-change metrics, and escalate risks and blockers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in process improvement, business process design, or operations analysis, ideally in support or operations.
• Hands-on experience with process mapping methods, including process flows, swimlane diagrams, and RACI matrices.
• Experience analyzing process breakdowns and converting unstructured or tribal knowledge into standardized documentation.
• Comfort working with support and knowledge systems such as Zendesk, Salesforce, or Confluence.
• Experience using AI tools for documentation, gap analysis, or workflow audits while applying appropriate human review.
• Strong facilitation, written communication, spreadsheet, and process success-metric skills; SQL is not required.

Nice to have

• Experience improving workflows in high-volume, customer-facing support operations.
• Lean Six Sigma, BPM certification, or equivalent process improvement training.
