Senior Business Analyst, AI Studio - Operation & Manufacturing Domain (AI)

What you will do

• Lead discovery for AI, automation, process intelligence, workflow, and digital opportunities across the Applied AI & Automation portfolio.
• Partner with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Solution Partners, architects, and delivery teams to clarify needs, scope, outcomes, and readiness.
• Translate ambiguous requests into opportunity statements covering business problems, stakeholders, future-state processes, value drivers, risks, dependencies, and success measures.
• Document current- and future-state processes using process flows, SIPOC diagrams, value stream maps, journey maps, capability maps, and decision flows.
• Support business cases, value assessments, prioritization inputs, technical review preparation, and leadership-ready recommendations.
• Use approved AI tools such as ChatGPT to accelerate discovery, documentation, business-case development, and reusable process artifacts.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Doctorate; or a master's degree plus 2 years; bachelor's degree plus 4 years; associate's degree plus 8 years; or high school diploma/GED plus 10 years in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience in regulated life sciences environments, including GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, computer system validation, quality systems, or related compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical or life sciences processes, preferably in process development, quality, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Strong business architecture, business analysis, process documentation, stakeholder engagement, structured problem-solving, and business-case skills.
• Ability to work independently across matrixed, cross-functional teams and prepare opportunities for technical review and delivery planning.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, automation, process intelligence, digital workflow, enterprise platforms, or transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with UiPath, DocuSign, Celonis, Power Platform, WalkMe, Custom GPTs, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of WSJF, portfolio governance, PI planning, Agile, SAFe, Scrum, BPMN, SIPOC, value stream mapping, or journey mapping.
• Business architecture, Lean Six Sigma, BABOK, SAFe, product management, BPM, AI, automation, or digital transformation certification.
