Senior Test Automation Engineer (Payments)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise test automation frameworks.
• Build and execute functional, integration, end-to-end, and regression test suites for payment applications and transaction workflows.
• Automate REST and SOAP API testing and use SQL to validate application data, transactions, and processing outcomes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and test applications deployed in AWS, Azure, GCP, and Docker environments.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, perform root-cause analysis, and drive defects through resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, planning, estimation, reporting, and automation quality improvements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, or software testing.
• Hands-on experience testing payment or transaction-processing systems, including ACH, wire transfers, SWIFT, or related electronic payments.
• Experience with Playwright and/or Selenium and programming with Java and/or Python.
• Strong REST, SOAP, API, SQL, and relational database testing experience.
• Experience with public cloud, Docker, CI/CD, and tools such as Bamboo, Git, Artifactory, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
