Customer Service Representative (Packaging Automation)

Location: Onsite at the Machesney Park, Illinois facility; the posting also lists Caledonia, Illinois.

Salary: $22.00–$32.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Serve as a primary customer contact for quotations, orders, inquiries, order status, and sales support.
• Prepare quotations and order confirmations for aftermarket parts, services, repairs, and maintenance agreements.
• Coordinate with materials, engineering, service, operations, purchasing, logistics, vendors, and accounts receivable.
• Resolve issues involving orders, deliveries, invoicing, product availability, warranties, and past-due invoices.
• Maintain customer records, pricing data, sales information, and price records in company systems.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, follow up on open quotations, and develop spare-part packages and stock recommendations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, sales administration, or aftermarket support preferred.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems; Syteline and Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, communication, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work onsite in Illinois and meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, or related industries.
• Knowledge of automated packaging equipment.
