Merchandise Manager: Seasonal & Decor

Location: Center 53; onsite office-based role

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic merchandise plans for seasonal and decor assortments.
• Analyze customer, competitor, market, financial, operational, and trade data to forecast demand and identify product needs.
• Evaluate, select, and develop supplier and vendor relationships.
• Create inventory, sourcing, procurement, and distribution plans while improving quality, service, and costs.
• Review quotations, negotiate product costs, award supplier contracts, and monitor contract performance.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to address profitability, quality, fulfillment, and merchandising issues.

Requirements

• Three or more years of end-to-end merchandising experience, including procurement, demand forecasting and planning, and vendor relations; eCommerce experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, collaboration, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, work independently, and solve problems creatively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• SQL skills.
• Graduate degree in Merchandising, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience influencing across an organization, coaching reports, and hiring and leading diverse teams.
