Category Manager, Procurement (Marine)

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid work with a minimum of three days in the office per week. Travel up to 10% is required for supplier visits and site support.

Salary: $86,500–$126,800 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and execute MRO category strategies aligned with operational and business objectives.
• Lead strategic sourcing events, supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance reviews.
• Drive standardization of parts and services, spend visibility, demand management, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Manage sourcing projects supporting new product development, cost reduction, strategic change, and operational continuity.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks while maintaining safety, quality, sustainability, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, and service stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management, or engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, operations management, or a related business field.
• Experience working in a global organization with a matrix structure.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, facilities management, or multi-site operations.
• Knowledge of inventory management, reliability, or maintenance practices.
• Previous experience leading and managing a team of sourcing professionals.

Nice to have

• CPSM, CPIM, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• MBA and additional Six Sigma experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with Power BI.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
