Senior Looker Developer

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize reliable Looker dashboards and reports.
• Develop and restructure LookML projects, coding standards, parameters, and style guidelines.
• Implement persistent derived tables, caching strategies, refresh policies, audits, and unit testing.
• Configure data security through access filters and field- and row-level permissions.
• Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to define data structures and technical solutions.
• Train, mentor, and support team members on Looker best practices and components.

Requirements

• 8+ years of data visualization development experience, including 5+ years with Looker.
• Expert-level proficiency in Looker and LookML, with strong SQL and analytical skills.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions.
• Familiarity with BigQuery, Git, and CI/CD deployment workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, debugging, communication, collaboration, and project-management skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English and current authorization to work full-time in the United States are required.

Nice to have

• Looker LookML Developer certification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
