Lead BI Developer

Location: Remote from Los Angeles, CA; Portland, OR; San Diego, CA; or Seattle, WA

Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. Total compensation also includes profit-sharing and competitive benefits.

What you will do

• Own reporting infrastructure and analytics from raw data ingestion through final dashboards across Credit Cards, Make Money/Manage Money, Banking, and Marketplace verticals.
• Audit existing reporting, identify discrepancies and redundancies, and create a roadmap for standardized dashboards and trusted data sources.
• Partner with Yield, Paid Media, and Account Management to understand business models, performance levers, and full-funnel metrics.
• Conduct retrospective analyses across experiments, creatives, offers, seasonality, conversion rates, revenue per session, and CAC performance.
• Build reporting that is adopted and understood, enabling confident self-service analytics and better business decisions.
• Develop toward a proactive analytical partnership that surfaces trends and recommends actions.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics.
• Direct experience with performance or affiliate marketing.
• Expert SQL skills and the ability to work with unstructured, complex, and third-party data.
• Experience owning reporting end to end, from data pipelines to dashboards, and improving data literacy across business teams.
• Advanced LookML development or equivalent experience in Power BI or Tableau, with awareness of downstream model impacts.
• Strong analytical rigor, business acumen, communication, curiosity, and proactive stakeholder collaboration.
