What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and direct on-Depot transportation activities involving railroad equipment, vehicles, and Material Handling Equipment.
• Supervise transportation employees, assign work, provide direction, and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with Supply Depot Operations to improve transportation reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize equipment utilization.
• Develop policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for transportation operations.
• Monitor safety, environmental, and operational risks and support corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation, training, and compliance with company, contract, state, federal, and hazardous-materials requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Transportation Management or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• At least 4 years of transportation operations experience, including 1 year of supervisory or work-direction experience.
• Knowledge of hazardous-materials transportation requirements and safe movement practices.
• U.S. or naturalized citizenship is required.
• Must complete the AMC Regulation 350-4 ammunition-operations training and certification program within 90 days of hire and maintain current certification.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada driver's license.
