2027 Manufacturing Engineer Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Channelview, Texas, United States; onsite five days a week. Relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $26.00–$43.00 per hour, based on the degree pursued and completed academic hours.

What you will do

• Develop and execute cost-effective, stable manufacturing processes for turbofab and welding operations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and design engineers, shop operations, tool design, and CAD/CAM groups.
• Support warehouse, machining, fabrication, spool shop, structures, hydrotesting, assembly, welding, and automation activities.
• Contribute to new product integration and process improvement projects.
• Participate in hands-on engineering work, production facility tours, technical training, and departmental networking.
• Present the internship experience to hirify.global staff.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Classified as a sophomore, junior, senior planning to attend graduate school, or currently attending graduate school.
• Minimum overall GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in Channelview, Texas.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate problem-solving, communication, and technical judgment.

Nice to have

• Previous co-operative or internship experience.
• High energy level and a sense of urgency.
