Operations Engineering Co-Op/Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: East Syracuse, NY, USA; onsite at a facility requiring reliable transportation

Salary: $18–$26 per hour

What you will do

• Create and update clear manufacturing procedure documents for production technicians.
• Support engineers with troubleshooting, failure isolation, and root-cause analysis.
• Identify production process inefficiencies and help implement solutions that prevent recurrence.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
• Assist with returning failed products to suppliers through the RTV process.
• Participate in data collection and failure analysis studies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation is required because the facility is not conveniently located near a bus route.

• Experience with statistical analysis tools.
