Commercial Construction Superintendent (Corporate Interiors)

Location: Seattle, WA, United States; on-site construction work

Base salary: $99,000–$150,700 per year

What you will do

• Direct on-site construction activities for commercial office tenant improvements and corporate interiors.
• Coordinate subcontractors across demolition, framing, drywall, ceilings, flooring, millwork, glazing, MEP, and fire protection systems.
• Manage trade sequencing, look-ahead planning, site logistics, deliveries, and long-lead materials with the project manager.
• Administer site safety and quality programs, including inspections, incident reporting, architectural finishes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate access, shutdowns, deliveries, noise restrictions, and after-hours or weekend work with building management and client representatives.
• Manage occupied-space construction, phased turnover, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including commercial general contractor experience and a strong background in corporate interiors and office tenant improvements.
• Previous superintendent or field project lead experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of interior construction methods, trade sequencing, building systems, and quality control practices.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes of work.
• Ability to organize people, materials, tools, and time while working in occupied spaces and fast-paced schedules.
• Proficiency with or ability to learn Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam; ability to walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
