Pre-Construction Project Manager (Residential Construction)

Location: Dallas, TX; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $75,000–$110,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Lead a portfolio of Dallas-area residential projects through due diligence, consultant coordination, permitting, and pre-construction.
• Manage schedules, dependencies, municipal approval risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for schedule compression using hirify.global’s project management platform.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Design, Procurement, and local Field teams to optimize lot-specific plans for site conditions, zoning, and cost efficiency.
• Manage relationships with the City of Dallas, suburban building departments, Master-Planned Community HOAs, and Architectural Review Committees.
• Prepare comprehensive project packages and lead handoffs to Construction for vertical construction mobilization.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in residential construction project management, architecture, or project development.
• Experience with North Texas permitting processes and familiarity with DFW trade partners and consultants.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings, understand civil engineering plans, and navigate zoning requirements.
• Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline of 20–40 projects and maintain accurate project tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfort using and improving proprietary project management software.

Nice to have

• Experience in production homebuilding or high-volume urban infill development.
