Electrical Superintendent

Location: Bakersfield, California, United States; work at client sites in California with travel to domestic rotational and remote fly-in/fly-out projects.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and direct electrical construction activities within assigned areas.
• Lead site teams, contractors, discipline supervisors, and project stakeholders to deliver construction scopes safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate construction work packages, inspections, installation testing, quality requirements, schedules, budgets, and contract changes.
• Lead jobsite coordination and progress meetings while reporting factual project and contractor status.
• Review contractor inspection and test plans, witness hold points, and verify compliance with design and quality requirements.
• Coordinate punch lists, systems completion, as-built documentation, pre-operational testing, commissioning, and client handover.

Requirements

• Technical degree or diploma in engineering or construction, or Journeyperson Certification with 10+ years of construction supervisory or management experience.
• Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent or in a similar role.
• Experience with major surface and underground electrical work packages, including electrical systems installation and testing.
• Strong knowledge of HSE policies, electrical safety codes, construction quality, and completion systems.
• Leadership, organization, communication, reporting, contractor coordination, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, model viewing software, Bluebeam, construction software, EPCM delivery, project schedules, budgets, and change management.
