Branch Manager (Industrial Gases)

Location: Pecos, Texas, United States — onsite at a retail shop

What you will do

• Manage daily retail branch operations and work toward sales and margin goals.
• Provide customer service and respond to product, pricing, and technical inquiries.
• Support outside sales by maintaining existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
• Oversee financial transaction processing, cash reports, pricing, costing, purchase orders, and bank deposits.
• Maintain cylinder, hardgoods, back-order, open-order, and purchase-order records and inventory levels.
• Train and mentor branch associates while supporting performance reviews, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience leading teams in a retail or industrial distribution environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 125 pounds using material-handling equipment.
• Proficient computer skills, willingness to learn digital tools, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, and a focus on team success.

Nice to have

• Spanish and English bilingual ability.
• Experience in welding, gases, or safety.
• Three or more years focused on team development and operational efficiency.
• Five or more years of sales experience.
• Experience with inventory management and vendor relationships.
