Material / Inventory Analyst (Automotive)

Location: Remote in California, United States. Up to 10% travel is required, along with the ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and perform extended standing, walking, and repetitive tasks.

Annual base pay: $79,386–$140,840 USD.

What you will do

• Plan, purchase, and manage service parts and accessories inventory for customers, Service Partners, and delivery hubs.
• Collaborate with Sales Inventory and Operations Planning, warehouse and 3PL teams, Purchasing, suppliers, and other internal partners.
• Place and track supplier purchase orders through the ERP system.
• Review and improve supplier lead times, minimum order quantities, rounding values, and related purchasing data.
• Monitor inventory and expedite or de-expedite orders based on actual demand.
• Set safety stocks and develop inventory control strategies to optimize stocking levels.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or business management, preferably in material management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, material management, analytics, operations, or an equivalent background is preferred; relevant professional experience may substitute.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, project management tools, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools such as SmartSheets, Tableau, Alteryx, or scripting tools.
• Experience working cross-functionally with suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams.
• Applicants must be authorized to work permanently in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
