Materials Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Ward Hill, Massachusetts, United States; onsite warehouse work

What you will do

• Lead inbound warehouse and internal material flow operations, including receiving and kitting.
• Ensure accurate material receipts, inventory transactions, and timely material availability for production and customers.
• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, issue resolution, and corrective actions.
• Establish standard work, safety practices, and warehouse procedures while monitoring operational KPIs.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
• Coach and develop Material Handlers, escalate operational risks, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3–5 years of related experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising teams in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, and kitting processes.
• Experience with an ERP or MRP system; Oracle experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment across two shifts, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional overtime or weekend work.

Nice to have

• CPIM and/or APICS certification.
• Experience in a multi-site or multi-team warehouse environment.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, analyzing inventory data, developing standard work, or optimizing warehouse layout and material flow.
