Materials Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: 100% onsite in Jacksonville, Florida, United States; remote work is not offered.

What you will do

• Supervise receiving, supermarket operations, inventory control, material handling, replenishment, point-of-use delivery, WIP, and finished-goods material flow.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and material availability through location control, cycle counting, transactional discipline, and corrective actions.
• Maintain the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) system and support Kanban, pull systems, supermarkets, point-of-use inventory, and milk runs.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and MRB teams to resolve shortages, supplier issues, and material discrepancies.
• Track materials KPIs and support improvements in inventory turns, warehouse productivity, dock-to-stock performance, replenishment, and production continuity.
• Coach materials and warehouse team members, lead or support Kaizen events, and enforce environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, industrial engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• At least 4 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain within manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising or leading teams in warehouse, materials, inventory, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with PFEP, Kanban, supermarket, pull, point-of-use, lean replenishment, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for inventory and materials planning; SAP, Oracle, or Infor Syteline experience is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite in Jacksonville, Florida and follow applicable safety and environmental requirements.

• APICS CPIM/CSCP, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing certification.
