What you will do

• Price, quote, and purchase materials required for fire protection system installations.
• Analyze supplier quotes and negotiate pricing, terms, quality, delivery, and service.
• Review stock orders, quantities, inventory data, quote logs, and vendor backorder reports.
• Track stock orders and drop shipments, follow up with vendors, and expedite deliveries to the warehouse.
• Resolve vendor discrepancies and issues, maintain inventory accuracy, and obtain RMAs when needed.
• Report order and quote activity during weekly meetings and promote a safe workplace.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• High school diploma.
• Strong communication, negotiation, customer service, organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of purchasing, pricing, terms, shipments, taxes, and payments for products and services.
• Working knowledge of fire protection industry terminology, markets, commodities, and component types.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, DRP, Elite, and Dynamics 365.
