Credit Review Manager (Commercial Credit)

Location: Fully onsite in Phoenix, Arizona at 2155 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027

Salary: $117,000–$180,000 per year, with possible performance-based incentive compensation

What you will do

• Manage Credit Risk Review Examiners performing independent reviews of complex non-homogeneous loans and loan portfolios.
• Assess credit risk, verify adherence to credit policies and underwriting guidelines, and evaluate internal loan risk ratings.
• Coordinate workflow, staffing assignments, review activities, project plans, samples, results, and draft reports.
• Develop department policies, procedures, exam plans, and materials for the Audit Committee.
• Coach, mentor, train, and support the development of review staff.
• Collaborate with Wholesale Banking, Credit Quality Administration, Enterprise Risk, Internal Audit, and senior management on credit risk issues and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in banking, commercial credit, and business financial analysis, including department oversight or personnel management.
• Experience with commercial loan review is preferred.
• Extensive experience with commercial and consumer credit products, banking regulations, accounting rules, and credit risk review guidance.
• Advanced financial analysis skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate clearly across all organizational levels and lead high-performing teams through mentoring, performance management, and conflict resolution.
