Engineer Sr Lead, Software (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, three days in-office and two days virtual at the Atlanta, Georgia office

What you will do

• Define the technology strategy, roadmap, architecture, and governance for content management and eDelivery platforms.
• Lead development of document ingestion, storage, archival, metadata, search, workflow, retention, compliance, and content lifecycle capabilities.
• Develop secure, scalable digital delivery across web, mobile, secure messaging, APIs, and notification services.
• Modernize enterprise platforms through cloud adoption, microservices, API-first architecture, automation, and DevSecOps.
• Mentor software engineers, guide architecture and code reviews, and promote engineering standards.
• Improve reliability, performance, observability, incident response, security, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information technology, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience and 3+ years leading technical teams or large-scale engineering initiatives.
• Advanced experience with C++, C#, .NET, .NET Core, and modern full-stack development; experience with Angular, Blazor, or similar component-based frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, application architecture, authentication, authorization, secure API design, and role-based access control.
• Experience with Oracle and relational databases, Git, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and applications deployed on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum, automated testing, debugging, performance optimization, production support, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with customer communications, digital document delivery, statement processing, or content management systems.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture, Kubernetes, containerization, distributed messaging, search and indexing, and cloud-native application design.
• Experience in financial services, banking, payments, fintech, or other regulated industries.
