Manager of Software Engineering (C#/.NET)

What you will do

• Lead and develop two agile teams of senior- and mid-level software engineers and SDETs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Boarding, Implementation, Product Operations, architects, engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end business processes.
• Ensure code quality, test coverage, test automation, observability, and definition of SLIs, SLOs, and KPIs.
• Manage delivery planning, resource allocation, project milestones, risks, issues, and product backlog priorities.
• Mentor team members, support career growth, and promote continuous improvement.
• Work with Site Reliability and platform teams to improve CI/CD processes, test automation frameworks, compliance, and production support practices.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience and at least 1 year of team management experience.
• Strong C# experience is required, with practical experience using .NET and software development best practices.
• Experience delivering large projects involving complex integrations with systems and teams.
• Experience with development processes, estimation, resource allocation, leadership, decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with payment processing industry processes, technologies, and players.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Cloud-native development, Azure, or GCP experience.
• Containers and Kubernetes experience.
• Front-end automation testing experience with Playwright.
• Experience working with onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams.
• Knowledge of SAFe Agile Project Delivery foundations.
