Software Engineering Manager

Location: Irving, Texas, United States. Hybrid work arrangement with at least 2 days onsite per week.

What you will do

• Lead the team in building modern applications, platforms, and services across the software development lifecycle.
• Plan and manage the budget, resources, tools, and product evolution strategy.
• Define delivery and service-level metrics and use them to improve products and processes.
• Coach and develop team members while promoting technical learning, innovation, and collaboration.
• Review test plans and results, support user acceptance criteria, and remove delivery impediments.
• Partner with Business Operations to communicate progress and automation outcomes.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of software development experience, including architecture and implementation.
• Advanced knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure, operations, and business processes.
• Experience working in large, complex business environments and understanding technology governance for financial institutions.
• Ability to lead, coach, develop, and influence teams while communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior executives.
• Experience with software architecture, platform definition, tool selection, analytical problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of relevant technologies may include Azure DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Angular, Node, Java, C#, .NET, Go, PowerShell, Bash, Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL, and automated testing tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
