Senior Manager – Software Engineering (Fintech)

Location: 100% remote from anywhere in the United States; reports to the company headquarters. No travel required.

Salary: $170,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage complex software development initiatives supporting web services, software deployment, and partner framework integrations.
• Establish project objectives, technical policies, roadmaps, work plans, and delivery procedures.
• Lead Agile sprint teams in planning, prioritization, and delivery of software features.
• Oversee software architecture, system requirements, technical design, and modernization of transaction monitoring and sanctions screening systems.
• Contribute to full-cycle web application and middleware development, including analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Oversee database retrieval strategies and develop data migration plans for upgrades and integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field plus 8 years of related experience, or a master’s degree plus 6 years of experience.
• Experience with project planning tools such as SmartSheet.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database design, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Experience with C#, .NET Core, and ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or Talend.
• Knowledge of analytics and reporting tools including BusinessObjects, QlikView, and SSRS.
• Experience with test-driven development, CI/CD, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Jira, Confluence, and Git or SVN.
