Medical Director, US Vaccines Medical Affairs, Policy Methodologist, non-MD (Vaccines)

Location: United States; available job locations include New York, NY; Collegeville, PA; Cambridge, MA; Groton, CT; Lake Forest, IL; and La Jolla, CA. Permanent US work authorization is required.

Annual base salary: $176,600–$294,300, plus a 20% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Lead methodological reviews and policy analyses for inline and pipeline vaccine assets considered by CDC ACIP, the Vaccine Integrity Project, medical societies, and other vaccine policy forums.
• Develop policy strategies for data-generation plans, medical plans, tactical plans, forecasting, and business development activities across vaccine assets.
• Oversee internal GRADE analyses and Evidence to Recommendations frameworks for the US market.
• Serve as a primary hirify.global contact for CDC, ACIP, the Vaccine Integrity Project, and medical societies including AAP, AAFP, ACOG, and IDSA.
• Coordinate cross-functional vaccine policy strategy teams, advisory boards, external engagements, and US ACIP strategic plans.
• Support economic and preference studies, valuation of new business opportunities, and assessment of ACIP policy scenarios.

Requirements

• PharmD or PhD with at least 5 years of experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 7+ years or a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years.
• Recent expertise in vaccines, vaccine policy development, GRADE, Evidence to Recommendations frameworks, CDC ACIP processes, medical society vaccine guidelines, systematic reviews, and evidence reviews.
• Experience with vaccine and immunization programs, policy and environmental factors affecting immunization, and established KOL networks.
• Ability to interpret and present complex scientific information to medical and non-medical audiences, with strong scientific writing and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder facilitation, strategic problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States; US work visa sponsorship is not available.
