Associate Medical Director (Respiratory)

Location: Cambridge, MA; US and Puerto Rico residents only

Salary: $148,500–$214,500 per year

What you will do

• Support the Integrated Evidence Generation Plan and Global Medical Strategy for dupilumab in asthma and COPD.
• Design Phase IV interventional, observational, and real-world evidence study synopses.
• Partner with regional and local affiliates to align evidence-generation activities with the Global Medical Plan.
• Evaluate external sponsored research initiatives and maintain scientific rigor and strategic relevance.
• Build relationships with respiratory experts, academics, patient associations, and key opinion leaders.
• Support advisory boards and roundtables while maintaining a patient-centric approach to clinical studies.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in a relevant scientific or medical discipline, such as MD, PhD, PharmD, or a relevant scientific master’s degree.
• At least 5 years of industry experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or biotechnology R&D, Medical Affairs, or a related field.
• Experience working in complex matrixed organizations.
• Strong scientific communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in clinical trial methodology, design, and execution, including Phase IV, observational, or real-world evidence studies.
• Experience in a global or regional medical or clinical development role.

Nice to have

• Experience with biologics in respiratory, immunology, or immune-inflammation therapeutic areas.
• Experience with dupilumab, asthma, or COPD.
• Experience working in alliance or partnership settings.
