TL;DR
Medical Director, Dermatology - US Medical Affairs (Dermatology/Immunology): Developing and executing US Medical Affairs clinical programs, including Phase 3b/4 trials, registries, real-world evidence studies, and investigator-initiated research with an accent on protocol development, medical oversight, and evidence generation. Focus on leading study operations, analyzing and reporting clinical data, collaborating across medical and commercial functions, and building relationships with key opinion leaders.

Location: Horsham, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remotely per week. Up to 25% travel, primarily domestic with limited international travel.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute Medical Affairs-sponsored Phase 3b/4 trials, registries, real-world evidence studies, and investigator-initiated or collaborative studies in dermatology.
  • Lead or contribute to study design, protocol development, clinical study reports, publications, data monitoring, and medical oversight.
  • Provide dermatology subject-matter expertise to cross-functional teams across medical affairs, clinical development, commercial, health economics, value and evidence, and field medical functions.
  • Provide US Medical Affairs input to clinical development programs, including study designs, presentations, and publications.
  • Support medical information responses and develop, review, and approve medical education content.
  • Identify and collaborate with key opinion leaders, medical societies, and patient advocacy organizations.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree such as MD/DO, PhD, PharmD, DNP, or PA.
  • At least 8 years of combined relevant experience in academic clinical research, clinical practice, and/or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is required; Medical Affairs experience is highly preferred.
  • Dermatology or immunology therapeutic-area expertise is highly preferred.
  • Experience with clinical studies, registries, real-world evidence, and commercial or medical launches is strongly preferred.
  • Strong scientific writing, analytical, interpersonal, public speaking, leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience identifying and collaborating with key opinion leaders and healthcare thought leaders.
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as AI and applying new tools through exploration and iteration.
