VGOV Engineering Technician (RF)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; onsite role

Salary: $32.21–$50.96 per hour. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $40.14–$60.34 per hour.

What you will do

• Build, test, and troubleshoot advanced RF-based hybrid electro-mechanical modules and subassemblies.
• Perform RF testing and circuit-level troubleshooting on hirify.global products.
• Conduct measurements including gain, P1dB, noise figure, phase noise, adjacent channel rejection, and isolation.
• Develop test methods, procedures, documentation, and custom test setups; calibrate RF test stations.
• Collect and analyze test data, document failures, and investigate root causes with design, test, and manufacturing engineers.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Clearance are required.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic products.
• Ability to read schematics and understand electronic circuits.
• Associate of Science degree in Electronics Technology or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Basic computer, Microsoft Office, communication, teamwork, and autonomous working skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with RF test, measurement, and calibration techniques.
• Experience in a development engineering environment with high ambiguity.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting RF amplifiers, LNAs, and up/down converters.
• Experience with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, noise figure meters, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and thermal chambers or plates.
