Equipment/Maintenance Technician

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island, United States. This position is open only to applicants who qualify as U.S. Persons under applicable export control regulations.

Salary: $25–$30 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Dismantle, adjust, repair, assemble, and rebuild manufacturing equipment using layouts, blueprints, manuals, sketches, and drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment failures using test and diagnostic equipment.
• Modify and calibrate equipment as directed by Equipment Engineering.
• Work with the Process Engineering team on equipment qualifications.
• Perform maintenance activities while following required PPE and safe lifting practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills with comprehensive troubleshooting ability.
• Self-motivated, able to work with little to no supervision, and effective in computer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person, including a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, due to ITAR and/or EAR-controlled information.
