Transportation Engineering Project Manager

Location: Walnut Creek, California, United States. Hybrid work between an office environment and field environments; occasional exposure to weather, noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water may be required depending on project needs.

Salary: $180,000–$260,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead roadway improvement projects from conceptual design through preliminary, intermediate, and final design phases to construction.
• Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and task orders.
• Oversee schematic and PS&E plan preparation for roadway projects.
• Direct the design of roadway, highway, and traffic engineering projects.
• Support business development and proposal efforts.
• Coordinate project pursuits with client account management leads to win work.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least eight years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Ability to work in office and field environments and perform occasional physical activities, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 35 pounds.
• Successful completion of applicable pre-employment substance screening and background checks.
