Water & Wastewater Project Engineer

What you will do

• Prepare and review design plans, calculations, and technical documentation for pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
• Apply engineering standards and design codes to maintain technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and water and wastewater system evaluations.
• Coordinate design work with internal teams, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Support project managers with technical input, cost estimating, and quality control reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 4 years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Basic AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office and field environment in Austin, Texas, including occasional exposure to weather, noise, hazards, and bodies of water.
• Ability to perform occasional physical activities and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds; operating a company vehicle may be required.
