Maintenance Technician

Location: The Woodlands, Texas, United States; 100% in-office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not available.

What you will do

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs across restroom, mechanical, equipment, furniture, flooring, door hardware, and building areas.
• Replace lamps, air filters, ceiling tiles, and fire extinguishers; clean and inspect engineering and mechanical spaces.
• Support HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and process-control maintenance activities under the supervision of engineering leadership.
• Transport parts and supplies using employer-provided vehicles and complete general labor, material handling, and debris-removal tasks.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, contractors, client employees, teammates, and leadership.
• Follow PPE, OSHA, NEC, NFC, and NFPA requirements, report hazards, and participate in safety audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical or vocational training and/or 1–2 years of on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, or plumbing.
• Basic knowledge of work-order and facility-operation systems, laptop and phone applications, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Required engineering and trade licenses, familiarity with fire/life safety equipment, blueprints, code requirements, and proper tool use.
• Ability to read and write English is required to understand manuals and procedures and prepare reports.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States is required; employment visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available.
