Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, United States of America; onsite, full-time. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Maintain and operate mechanical, electrical, life safety, and other building systems.
• Handle tenant comfort calls, routine repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and emergency calls after hours on a rotating basis.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, ceiling tile, and general handyman work.
• Coordinate and escort vendors, monitor service contractors, and assist with customer equipment, furniture, and box moves.
• Track work orders, requests, inventory, and maintenance activity in a computerized maintenance management system.
• Report technical concerns, safety issues, equipment deficiencies, and building inspection findings to management.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with HVAC mechanical concepts, basic electrical work, and basic plumbing.
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools and their safe operation.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent, strong organization and record-keeping skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Authorization to work full-time in the United States; successful completion of a drug screen and criminal background check is required.
