Reconciliation Analyst (Investment Operations)

Location: Remote with EST hours required; Boston preferred with hybrid attendance twice per week

Salary: $45–$50 per hour

Contract position supporting an Investment Operations Shared Services reconciliation team.

What you will do

• Review aging reconciliation reports and validate exceptions against established thresholds.
• Resolve and escalate cash, holdings, and other reconciliation breaks, including issues with potential material impact.
• Maintain supporting documentation for cash and holdings reconciliations during monthly close.
• Manage SLA deliverables for internal and external stakeholders and communicate progress, issues, and delays.
• Review workflows and participate in initiatives that improve operational efficiency and controls.
• Support additional daily tasks assigned by the Lead or Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Investment Operations.
• Working knowledge of investment strategies and products, including public equity, debt, structured credit, private credit, bank loans, and derivatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and the ability to learn new applications and processes quickly.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BlackRock Aladdin.
• Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension.
• Experience in investments with an asset manager.
