Financial Operations Manager (FOM)

Location: Dallas, Texas; hybrid work with time split between home and the office

Salary: $105,400–$139,100 annually. The benefits section lists a range of $105,400–$115,900 annually.

What you will do

• Build scenario-planning models covering revenue visibility, revenue recognition timing, financial risks, and future opportunities.
• Analyze margins, utilization, costs, account performance, forecasts, and financial trends for operating-group and business-unit leaders.
• Deliver weekly reporting decks, financial read-outs, forecasts, and ad hoc analysis.
• Identify contract leakage, project issues, revenue-recognition risks, reporting gaps, and data-accuracy concerns.
• Partner with Project Accountants, Finance, Treasury, FP&A, Legal, and business leaders on revenue assurance, pricing, contracts, and liquidity planning.
• Coach Project Accountants and build financial literacy among non-finance stakeholders while influencing decisions without formal authority.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, financial analysis, or comparable business-unit finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or comparable experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting or business intelligence tools, including Qlik or a similar platform.
• Knowledge of income statements, planning, forecasting, revenue recognition, contract structures, pricing, discounts, margins, and utilization analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in professional services, consulting, staffing, or another utilization- and margin-based environment.
• Experience informally leading, coaching, or reviewing others.
• CPA or MBA in progress.
• Experience with business-unit or practice-group structures.
