Superintendent - Electrical

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States; work at various client sites, including domestic rotational and remote fly-in/fly-out projects.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct electrical construction activities within the assigned area.
• Lead site teams and contractors while enforcing HSE policies, project procedures, quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate construction work packages, contractor activities, discipline interfaces, jobsite meetings, and progress reporting.
• Review contractor inspection and test plans, inspect installations, witness hold points, and monitor quality and performance.
• Lead punch-list completion, systems completion, testing, as-built documentation, and handover with commissioning teams.
• Coordinate jobsite activities and interfaces with client representatives, field engineering, project controls, and site planning.

Requirements

• Technical degree or diploma in engineering or construction, or journeyperson certification with 10+ years of construction supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with underground mining and surface construction in heavy industrial or institutional environments, including previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of electrical systems installation and testing, quality and completion systems, and applicable safety and electrical codes.
• Strong HSE knowledge, leadership, organization, communication, reporting, contractor coordination, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, model-viewing software, Bluebeam, and construction software tools, plus an understanding of EPCM project delivery, budgets, contracts, and schedules.
• Ability to work at industrial construction sites, travel on domestic projects on a rotational basis, work in cold weather and temperature extremes, and tolerate construction-site noise.
