Senior Project Manager (Electrical Construction)

Location: Renton, Washington, United States; Workplace: On-site

Salary: $115,000–$180,000 annually, plus a discretionary year-end bonus

What you will do

• Lead approximately 10 concurrent commercial electrical construction projects and oversee project managers and assistant project managers.
• Manage project execution plans, staffing, resources, schedules, procurement, cash flow, and financial forecasting.
• Oversee contracts, change orders, claims, disputes, scope changes, and project correspondence.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, estimators, field teams, and project staff on milestones, expectations, and deliverables.
• Maintain safety, quality assurance, equipment tracking, document control, audits, and injury-free work practices.
• Mentor project management staff and maintain customer relationships to support satisfaction and future construction opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial electrical construction.
• Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects and portfolios exceeding $10 million annually.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, risk management, change orders, claims resolution, and subcontractor and vendor agreements.
• Experience leading and mentoring project teams, managing schedules and resources, and coordinating procurement and quality programs.
• Strong communication, negotiation, customer relationship management, problem-solving, and construction safety skills.
