Project Engineer (Electrical Construction)

Location: Henderson, Colorado, United States; onsite work at a company-designated office or field location is required.

Salary: $75,000 per year, paid weekly and commensurate with experience.

Sturgeon Electric Company, a subsidiary of hirify.global, provides large-scale electrical construction services, including powerline, commercial and industrial, transmission, and renewable energy projects across the western United States.

What you will do

• Support construction management for electrical construction projects serving federal, state, and municipal clients.
• Interpret construction drawings and assist with reviewing plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Prepare submittal lists, statements of work, change-management documentation, and daily and weekly reports.
• Assist with cost estimates, project scheduling, and coordination with senior project management professionals.
• Inspect equipment, materials, workmanship, and completed construction, including field progress.
• Promote safe construction operations and verify compliance with required procedures and specifications.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in commercial electrical construction operations or general construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera at an intermediate level or higher.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.
