Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java/React)

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

What you will do

• Build scalable platforms, APIs, user interfaces, and web services for NimbleRx products.
• Own full-stack features from design and implementation through testing and release.
• Improve system usability, performance, reliability, scalability, and consistency of the customer experience.
• Solve complex design and technical problems and promote high-quality development practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns while collaborating with engineering, Product Management, and Design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing backend APIs, web services, and user interfaces.
• Strong development experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, ECMAScript, SQL, and MySQL.
• Experience building scalable, customer-facing web applications.
• Experience practicing and advocating for test-driven development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Canadian work authorization is strongly preferred; visa sponsorship may be considered exceptionally for highly qualified candidates with critical specialized skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, or AWS.
