Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (AI, Java & React)

What you will do

• Design and build Java/Spring backend services and React/TypeScript customer-facing interfaces.
• Develop APIs, integrations, data models, and distributed or event-driven workflows for cloud-based SaaS applications.
• Own features through technical design, implementation, automated testing, release, monitoring, and production support.
• Use AI coding agents for codebase analysis, planning, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and refactoring while validating the results.
• Modernize established systems and improve CI/CD, observability, security, performance, and deployment reliability.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, review code, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, quality, and platform teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting production SaaS or enterprise applications.
• 4+ years of production experience with Java and Spring, plus hands-on React and TypeScript development.
• Experience designing APIs, data models, integrations, and distributed or event-driven systems.
• Experience building and operating applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP with automated delivery and production support.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools and strong engineering judgment in diagnosing problems and evaluating trade-offs.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex features and effective collaboration across engineering and product teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, GraphQL, Hibernate, JDBC, Kafka, or comparable technologies.
• Knowledge of React architecture, reusable components, state management, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure as code.
• Experience modernizing Apache Stripes, JSP, Servlets, or other established Java web applications.
• Deeper experience with Claude Code or equivalent agentic development tools and repeatable engineering workflows.
