Senior Consultant, Full Stack Developer (Java)

What you will do

• Build, implement, and maintain flexible, personalized full-stack applications for the insurance portfolio.
• Design application technical infrastructure using databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches.
• Lead the development of cost-effective solutions for complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple backend systems.
• Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Support and mentor team members through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and problem solving.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, MongoDB, AWS, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience delivering technology solutions in the insurance industry and understanding core insurance workflows and regulated environments.
• Experience with application design, development, integration, testing approaches, and scalable web applications.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada and, where applicable, a valid work or study permit.
• Ability to collaborate, influence stakeholders, adapt to evolving technologies, and mentor colleagues.

Nice to have

• Salesforce and MuleSoft development or solution design experience.
• DevOps and CI/CD development experience.
• Cloud development experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
