Senior Full Stack Developer (AI)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid with two days per week in the Toronto office

Hourly pay: CA$60–CA$67 per hour

What you will do

• Architect and develop full-stack applications from the ground up using React and Node.js.
• Build cloud infrastructure for scalable, dynamic agentic workflows and autonomous agent operations.
• Optimize website performance and develop APIs that enable application integrations.
• Integrate third-party SaaS platforms, social media APIs, and other external tools.
• Implement secure services with authentication, authorization, API key management, and audit trails.
• Develop accessible interfaces and ship production applications with automated tests and observability.

Requirements

• Availability to collaborate from the Toronto office two days per week.
• 5+ years of experience with modern frameworks and languages, especially React and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and cloud services including ECS Fargate, Aurora, OpenSearch, S3, EventBridge/SQS, Cognito, and Bedrock.
• Experience with accessible UI development compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA, OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC, API key management, and access audit trails.
• Experience with Jest, Cypress, Next.js or Nuxt.js SSR applications, GraphQL, and Apollo.
• Experience building or integrating MCP-compatible APIs and agentic workflows, with familiarity with SLOs and production observability.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM structured outputs, function calling, and tool calling.
• Experience building LLM evaluation systems, golden test sets, LLM-as-judge pipelines, and prompt regression tests.
