Professional Learning Specialist (EdTech)

Location: Based in the Nashville, Tennessee or Chattanooga, Tennessee area; this is not a remote position and candidates must live in the posting area. Travel up to 90% is required, including overnight stays and transportation by car, plane, or public transportation.

Salary: $60,750–$99,750 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver targeted professional development to teachers, coaches, and school and district leaders.
• Provide classroom coaching, lesson-planning and pacing support, and guidance on applying assessment data to instruction.
• Support district-wide adoption and implementation of Ready and i-Ready diagnostic and instruction programs.
• Analyze implementation data, identify successes and challenges, and help maintain program integrity.
• Develop and revise professional development plans and schedules with district and site leaders.
• Collaborate with sales teams, educators, students, and school districts across large audiences and attend relevant educational conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in teaching, teacher coaching, or professional development.
• Teaching or coaching background in Mathematics or ELA and experience leading professional development for school or district leaders.
• Fluency with digital tools and online assessments, with the ability to discuss and apply data with educators and leaders.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to professional development.
• Ability to manage, monitor, evaluate, and ensure the integrity of program implementations.
• Strong working knowledge of Common Core State Standards for K–8 Mathematics or ELA, or comparable state standards; a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.
