Instructional Designer

Location: Fully remote within the United States; occasional travel of approximately 20% for team meetups.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually plus bonus.

What you will do

• Design and develop interactive online learning experiences that simplify technical concepts for educators and IT leaders.
• Create courses using conversational language, simulations, high-quality videos, and interactive elements.
• Apply adult learning principles and multimedia best practices to produce effective training content.
• Manage multiple course development projects in an agile environment while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with product subject-matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to align training with user needs.
• Identify content gaps and improve courses, in-product videos, Help Center articles, and other learning resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning, or a similar field.
• Expertise in rapid content development using Articulate Rise and video editing tools such as Camtasia or Adobe Premiere.
• Previous experience working in a remote environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Comfort participating in virtual meetings with the camera activated.

Nice to have

• Experience with HTML and CSS for course design enhancements.
• Strong graphic design skills.
• Location in or near the Eastern Time Zone.
