Location: On-site in Englewood, Colorado, United States; full-time, in-person work for 12 weeks beginning in May 2027.

Compensation: $28/hour; overtime eligible as authorized. Housing stipend: $300/week.

What you will do

  • Support active engineering projects, programs, and day-to-day team activities.
  • Apply classroom knowledge to technical challenges in the commercial space industry.
  • Conduct research, analysis, documentation, testing, and project support.
  • Work with engineers, technical specialists, and business professionals in meetings, reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Learn about lunar mission development and operations.
  • Present completed work and accomplishments at the end of the internship.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in person and full time for 12 weeks in Englewood, Colorado, beginning in May 2027.
  • Must have completed at least two years of college-level coursework before the internship.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and continue education after the internship.
  • Pursuing a degree relevant to the internship area.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Curiosity, initiative, willingness to learn, and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a fast-paced design and development environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile software engineering practices and processes.
  • Previous engineering internship experience, preferably in aerospace.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
